2. Dance Teaching in Practice (DTP)
3. The Theory of Dance (TTD)
4. Business Marketing & Development (BMD) 5. Leadership & Management (LDM) 6. Community Dance Practice (CDP)

Course Contents
What will be my learning outcomes from this course?
1. You will understand your role as a Dance Instructor
2. You will understand your responsibilities as a Dance Instructor 3. You will understand the practical considerations around Health & Safety in a dance class 4. You will be able to undertake a risk assessment for your social dance class 5. You will be able to use key anatomical terms in your dance teaching 6. You will be able to use key terms around alignment in dance & convey their importance to your class 7. You will be able to communicate effectively with your class 8. You will be able to plan and teach a Beginners solo social dance class & assist with teaching a Beginners partnerwork class 9. You will be able to lead a safe and effective Warm Up & Cool Down on your own 10. You will be able to use music effectively in your social dance classes

Throughout the course there are Knowledge Tests ( Multiple Choice & Open-ended questions)
You will also be asked to submit 3 short written assignments (approx 500 words)
You will be asked to submit 3 x 10 minute video assignments
